If the Detroit Red Wings are going to win the Stanley Cup, Henrik Zetterberg is going to need some help. He's been asked to carry the scoring load and defend Sidney Crosby and it's starting to wear on him, according to Red Wings beat writer Ansar Khan.

"Zetterberg looked a little worn down tonight," Khan said. "This was four games in six nights. The Wings denied it, they said fatigue wasn't an issue, but that has to catch up to you sooner or later."

"It will be interesting to see with just one day off how much energy he'll come back with for Game 5."

The series with the Pittsburgh Penguins is tied 2-2 heading into Saturday's Game 5 in Detroit.

Khan said the Red Wings could use some scoring punch out of forwards Marian Hossan, Tomas Holmstrom and Jiri Hudler, who have virtually disappeared in the Stanley Cup finals.

"They need somebody to take the pressure of Zetterberg," Khan said. "They've got a lot of (forwards) who just aren't getting the job done right now."

Despite back-to-back losses at Mellon Arena, Khan said Detroit still should be favored, partly because it has home-ice advantage.

"I still think it favors Detroit. They've shown it time and time again, during the regular season and in the Anaheim series, when they really need to get a win, they're able to do it," Khan said. "They've got that experience, they know what it takes.

"Even with Datsyuk injured and some other guys struggling, they're still just the deeper, more talented team than the Penguins."
